Jazz

Jazz is a music genre that originated in the United States at the turn of the 20th century. It grew out of a combination of African American musical traditions, including blues, ragtime, and gospel music, as well as European classical music.
The roots of jazz can be traced back to the late 19th century, when African American musicians began to incorporate elements of African rhythms and improvisation into their music. Early jazz was played in small ensembles, with instruments like the trumpet, clarinet, trombone, piano, bass, and drums.
